General
Agendo is a modern appointment scheduling platform that connects clients, professionals, and studio owners in one app. Clients browse studios and book appointments in seconds; professionals manage their schedule, availability, and client history; studio admins handle their team, services, and analytics โ all from the same place.
Yes โ downloading Agendo and booking appointments as a client is completely free, forever. The Professional subscription (โฌ4.99/month, with a 7-day free trial) is required for professionals and studio owners who want to manage their schedule, accept bookings, and access analytics.
Yes. A single Agendo account can hold multiple roles โ for example, you can be a Client who books appointments at other studios while also being a Professional or Admin who runs your own. Role-specific tabs appear automatically based on your active roles.
Agendo is available in English, Portuguese, French, Italian, and Spanish. You can change your language at any time from Profile โ Language. Your preference is saved to your device.
Booking & Appointments
From the Home screen, tap a studio or use the search bar to find one. Select a service, choose a professional (or "any available"), pick a date and time slot, add any notes, and confirm. You'll receive a notification when the professional approves your booking.
Yes, if a professional or studio shares their booking link with you. Visit the link, enter your name, email, and phone number, and complete the booking โ no app download required. If you later create an account with the same contact details, your booking history will be linked automatically.
Yes. Open the appointment from your Appointments screen and tap Cancel or Edit. Note that each studio sets its own cancellation policy โ if you cancel within the notice window (e.g., less than 24 hours before), a late cancellation fee may apply. The policy is shown before you confirm.
Yes. When a professional creates a booking manually, they can set it to repeat weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly, with a custom end date. Recurring series can also be cancelled all at once from the appointment detail screen.
If a time slot is fully booked, you can join the Waitlist for that service and date. When a cancellation opens up, you'll receive a push notification so you can book instantly. You can view and leave your active waitlist entries from the Waitlist tab.
Yes. After an appointment is marked as completed, you'll receive a rating request notification. You can leave a star rating and a comment. Ratings help other clients choose professionals and help professionals improve their services.
Account & Profile
Both work. You can sign up with a phone number (OTP via SMS) or an email address (OTP via email). After verifying the code, you'll choose your role (Client, Professional, or Studio Admin) and complete your profile.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?", enter your email address, and follow the instructions sent to your inbox. You'll receive a verification code to set a new password. You can also change your password at any time from Profile โ Change Password.
Go to the Profile tab and tap "Edit profile". You can update your name, email (re-verified via OTP), and phone number (re-verified via OTP). To change your photo, tap the avatar โ you can upload a new image, crop and rotate it. Maximum file size is 5 MB (JPEG, PNG, or WebP).
Yes. From Profile โ Privacy you can:
โข Hide my data from others โ prevents other professionals and admins in your studio from seeing your appointments or dashboard data.
โข Auto-approve appointments โ incoming bookings are approved automatically without needing your review.
โข Hide schedule from public โ makes your personal booking link invisible to clients.

Go to Profile โ scroll to the bottom โ tap "Delete account". You'll need to type
DELETE to confirm. This permanently removes your account, all personal data, and any studios where you are the sole admin. Alternatively, visit our account deletion page. All data is erased within 30 days in line with our Privacy Policy.For Professionals
From the Professional tab, search for the studio by name and tap "Send join request" โ you can add an optional message. The studio admin will review your request and approve or reject it. You'll receive a notification either way. Once approved, you can set your availability and start receiving bookings.
In the Professional tab, go to Availability. You can define your working hours for each day of the week (start time, end time, and an optional break window). Use the "Quick setup" button to apply the same hours to all your working days at once. You can also add specific days off or holiday blocks.
Yes. From the New Appointment screen (calendar โ +), select "Manual booking". Search for an existing client by name, email, or phone, or create a new client on the spot. Then pick the service, date, and time. The system checks for conflicts in real time.
In the Professional tab, tap the share icon next to your name. You'll get a link that lets anyone book directly with you โ no Agendo account needed on the client's side. You can copy the link or share it via any app (WhatsApp, Instagram bio, etc.).
For Studio Owners (Admin)
During registration, select "Studio Admin" as your role and fill in the studio name, description, and address (with map picker). After registration, from the Admin tab you can upload a studio photo, configure your cancellation policy, add services, and invite or add professionals to your team.
Go to the Services tab. You can create services with a name, description, duration (in minutes), price, and category (Hair, Nails, Massage, Dental, Fitness, etc.). Each professional can be assigned to one or more services โ either by you (admin) or by the professionals themselves from their own Services tab. Deleting a service will cancel all upcoming bookings for it and notify clients.
You'll receive a notification when a professional requests to join your studio. In the Admin tab, go to Join Requests to review pending requests (name, optional message). Tap Approve โ you can optionally assign them to services at the same time โ or Reject. The professional is notified instantly.
Yes, from the Studio Settings screen (Admin tab โ Settings):

When you sign up as a Professional or Studio Admin, you get a 7-day free trial with full access to all Pro features โ no payment method required to start. At the end of the trial, choose the plan that fits you:
โข Basic โ โฌ4.99/month: unlimited bookings, client management, calendar sync, analytics, and push reminders for your clients.
โข Pro โ โฌ9.99/month: everything in Basic, plus 24-hour SMS reminders sent automatically to clients who don't have the Agendo app.

Log in with the same account, then go to the Subscription screen and tap "Restore purchases". Make sure you're signed in to the same App Store / Google Play account that was used for the original purchase. Your subscription will be reactivated immediately.
Notifications & Reminders
Agendo sends push notifications for: appointment confirmations, rejections, and cancellations; reminders at 48 hours, 24 hours, and 2 hours before your appointment; new booking alerts for professionals; rating requests after completed appointments; and waitlist availability alerts. All notifications appear in the bell icon inside the app. Professionals on the Pro plan also unlock 24-hour SMS reminders for clients who don't have the app.
Yes โ if you are on the Pro plan. When a client you booked doesn't have the Agendo app installed, the system automatically sends them a 24-hour SMS reminder before their appointment so they never miss it. Once they install the app and log in, reminders switch to free push notifications automatically.
SMS reminders are a Pro-only feature (โฌ9.99/month). Clients of professionals on the Basic plan (โฌ4.99/month) receive push reminders only.

Support & Privacy
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Authentication uses short-lived JWT tokens. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Agendo never shares your personal information with third parties without your consent. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
